Awards
STEMmersive won a Founders Concept Development Grant from the Children’s Theatre Foundation of America, identified as a “project that creates visionary and artistically excellent work for young people”! The funds helped us to develop our second show, Dive In! An Undersea Adventure as we prepared for our Spring 2024 premiere.
STEMmersive co-founder Mélissa Smith won a grant from the NYC Women’s Fund for Media, Music & Theatre in 2022 to develop the premiere productions of Blast Off! This prestigious grant was a collaboration between the New York Foundation for the Arts and the City of New York Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, with an aim to “to encourage and support the creation of content that reflects the voices and perspectives of all who identify as women”.
